Lattice Bowls

Whether in sunset shades, deep reds, cobalt blues or seaside colours as shown, this stunning piece works equally well as a practical table top feature or decorative wall hanging. It is created through a series of stages and firings. First the clear glass framework strips are cut, arranged and fired. The colour is added using crushed glass, carefully placed and shaded - often across 2 or more firings to build up colour and depth. Finally the piece is slumped in a mould to gain its 3-D shape.
