Large Dishes/Wall Art

Whether in sunset shades, deep reds, cobalt blues or seaside colours as shown, these stunning pieces work equally well as practical table top features or decorative wall hangings. They are created through a series of stages and firings. First the glass framework strips are cut, arranged and fired. Further colour is added using crushed glass, carefully placed and shaded - often across 2 or more firings to build up colour and depth. Finally the piece is slumped in a mould to gain its 3-D shape.
